Spring time!!!! Then again maybe not...

What a Fun Easter we had...Kobe loved drawing on the eggs and even more fun putting the stickers, one can never have too many stickers :)
Easter morning we woke Kobe to tell him the Easter bunny came, for the first time he woke up in a sprint! He couldn't wait to see what was left behind. "Candy....led to the Oh So coveted "Train Track puzzle" next his bunny. Surprising given the fact that he picked out the train track puzzle earlier in the week and then a memory that couldn't stop, every morning he would ask for it. Kobe has been into Joseph Smith lately, so he was totally into the animated movie he got. Trevor on the other hand loved "watching" Kobe and playing with his new friend "penguin." After a great reflection day of church, we went to play at GG and PaPa's to find a bags of Easter goodies hidden around the yard. New comers beware...Yours are always hidden on the roof :)

This week thanks to the nice weather, Jason finally finished Suzy's gate. Now she has the whole side of the house to bark bark bark. Kobe tried to help organize the extra pieces counting every piece to make sure they are all there.

We finally have been able to walk to the park. Kobe just loves it and Trevor thought the new experience was SO EXCITING, yet EXHAUSTING!

Give us a couple of days and I'm sure we'll have snowman pictures!!!:)

Our new BABYSITTER...

So either turning 6 months is hard work...or we are a boring family. Today Trevor has fallen asleep twice in his Johnny Jumper. Too cute! He cracks me up because when I went to get him out and with his eyes still closed he starts jumping. He seems to be falling asleep everywhere. We love our little man. I miss his baby cry, but love to hear him giggle and discovering his voice/squeelzes...maybe some day he'll be on American idle...nah....or in the tabernacle choir.....ah nope.... When i looked at Trevor last night i busted up because his little piggy was squeezing out the bottom. I was thinking the other day, "I thought we had more baby clothes". well i thought i had gone through all the boxes, but Jason informed me HE found more. I just love it that we find 3-6months clothes as Trevor turns 6 months. 6 MONTHS!!!!!WOW!!!

Mommy time/crazy sister time/ family time/ and it's about time!!!

Getting off of work at 12:30am, showering and packing up the boys and heading to Burley by 2:30 AM was just the begging of a crazy fun weekend in Utah.
Apparently due to the rush and lack of brain power, I didn't get any good pics of expo :( What a blast we had this past weekend, but the lack of sleep made it for a hard red eye recovery. Three of my sisters, mom and Dad (plus a little hiding niece in the back seat) were off to the scarp book expo Friday morning. No my dad wasn't one of the scrappers, although we did meet a nice gentlemen that signed up for more classes then his wife. My dad was the DD. Jason, on the other hand, was in Burley being the "DB" (designated babysitter) for seven kids under eight. Next year we will be a little more prepared on what to expect, but we did accomplish Goal #1 Getting our own table and Goal #2 Finding the good deals. My mom even won an awesome prize. Kona wasn't kidding when she said that they didn't start scrapp'n till 12:00. You didn't dare miss out on a deal. My sister-in-law couldn't believe the craziness that she was seeing when she showed up. It was great she joined in on the fun. Maybe next time she'll stay and scrap with us. Towards the evening our hubby's and families showed up and we met them at the Mayan Restaurant. I was planning on wearing this outfit the next day :)If you haven't been, it is way too cool. They have a show with divers every half hour. After great entertainment and a kiss from my boys, us girls ran back to squeeze in some more time. Some of us were productive, others not so much. By 11:45 pm we were sneaking in our hotel rooms. Next morning we woke up and went swimming before we were off to the zoo. The Rassy's met us there. Unfortunately with a group that big we couldn't keep together, but that's all good. I did have my first experience nursing in public. Jason said "Trevor is hungry, You ready to feed him?" I thought... here??? uh??? because i'm so totally not like that, panic struck...where on earth do you feed a child at the ZOO in private. I missed the sign that the said "nursing gorilla moms", don't enter! So I created my own nursing room near the back side of the Giraffe's home, hovered in the corner, hiding behind the stroller and copped a squat on the ground. Classic, but private as private can be at that moment. For your benefit no pics of that :)

After the adventurous day at the zoo (which Kobe loved!!) we eventually made it home after a quick stop at Target to buy Twilight (my actual purpose was stop for a potty break...but i some how found the movie jumped into my hand and was walking out with me in the check out :) and finally...after recovery from all the fun, we got Trevor's room done. BEFORE... I'm pleased how it turned out, despite the fact my sponge on circles turned out to be all painted by hand. AFTER...
My favorite part was Kobe trying to help me pull my hair out my "helping" smear brown wet paint across the ALREADY cream paint that was still recovering from the previous "oops". Jason was patient in trying to help Kobe be a little helper. All in all what an overall great TIME!Thanks Jason for watching all the munch kins, Dad for driving us and sister's/Madre for the great time as always!

IT'S NOT MOM...

Last night I noticed our little guy rambling on with his first word....and today there is no questioning it. Unfortunately it's not mom...it's DaDa. Even Kobe said "mom, Trevor's saying 'Dada'". Jason just smiles his little smirk, but for some reason I'm not surprised. He loves his dad. I just remind him that Kobe said MaMa first :) Trevor is the cutest today just screaming, discovering his voice.
I'm looking forward to our sister time this weekend. We are heading out for a scrap expo at 3 a.m. friday morning, wish me luck that I get an on-call thursday or at least can be home by 12:30am. Is that asking too much?
WE have also finally gotten around to painting Trevor's room. We'll let you see how it turns out!

On the back of my mind....

I never took the chance to place some pictures from Jason's birthday...aka what he really wanted for his birthday ...family time at "Hop To It". Not to worry too much because he did get his fun in racing Kobe through the obsticle course and knocking the kids down with the pads (Uncle Darby's idea.)

Plus some of my pictures turned out cute and because CeLes got the flu..we knew she would want us to take pictures.

So sometimes when the brother-in-laws get together..you never know what will happen but you can usually find them laughing...This was one of my favorites. Jeff and Jason were racing up the stairs to the slide and as you can see from the following pictures some how Jeff Kept falling down the stairs and Jason got to laughing pretty hard after Jeff fell about the third time in a row. It was amazing they ever made it down the slide.I wish you could see the look on J's face better.

Also I did survive the first night without Trevor (Anniversary). But sadly when I tried to call Kobe the next day he "don't want to talk" because he was busy eating cheetos. So I guess that is good?! I was happy to have them back, despite the fact Kobe crying during the most of dinner at Jonny Carinos and kept trying to take a nap on the floor...and Trevor had a moment where I couldn't get him to stop crying historically. So I had to exit dinner and run to the car...where apparently in attempt to try to everything to calm him...he finally was satisfied with a bum change. Go figure!!!Who likes to we soggy wet diaper? Next day, much better.

last but least...this may not seem very impressive, but Kobe insisted on taking a picture. I tried to show him how, but thought he took a picture of our feet. turned out not too bad for a 2 yr. old.

And Who said ANNIVERSARIES can't be fun on a budget?!

So I would say I have one of the most CREATIVE husbands in the WORLD!!! This year was our 7th anniversary!!!and a memorable one at that. A couple of days prior to, Jason had asked me some questions, some based on some of my favorite places to spend or had spent with him. Some included going to Hawaii (could be fun), but that camping under the stars with a campfire is something I love to do and of course going to the Temple. So unfortunately I had planned poorly and was scheduled to worked on Friday. I tried to get an on-call the last part of the shift, but it ended up the first part and going in for the last 4 hours. So we hurried to Rupert where Grandma/pa Jones were bravely watching the boys over-night for us and then Jason dropped me off. Well...by the time Jason picked me up at 12:30 and arrived home to have Jason lead me "blindly into Trevor's room (not sure why at that point) so I could do a couple of things, we didn't actually get to start our date he had "planned" till 1:30 or so in the morning. That in it's self...he's a trooper. And due to the fact I had to work he had to "improvize". So our night (or morning that is) began by going to "HAWAII", he had one bathroom all set up with floating candles etc.(apparently his original idea was to go to a hot springs), next destination was the "BEACH" (kobe's room) and final stop....I was lead into the living room where he had pitched our tent a dozen red roses laying on our mattress and rose pedals leading the way. A bottle of sparkling cider, homemade cinnamon rolls and a fire (Well he had tried to find a mini fireplace , but had to settle for grouped candles). We completed the "morning" at this point it was 3:00 by watching FIREPROOF from inside the tent! I just loved every bit of it. The movie was a perfect touch!!!So we couldn't quite stay awake the whole movie at that point, but ended up watching it after we woke up. To finish off our time together, the next days plans were to go through a temple session (the only idea I knew he planned.) Well Jason thought why don't we see if they have any "sealing" openings. Awesome idea, well long story short...they were too busy and the apparently they didn't have us down for the 330 session and apparently it was "reserved" for a ward???? isn't this typical when your trying to go to the Temple. Well Jason promised me a date night Wednesday...Tiki is watching the kids and we'll do sealings. we'll see cause they said no appointment needed. ???? This time we'll just show up!!!It worked out that the Sheppard's brought the boys back and my parents came down that afternoon so we went to the home and garden expo, Johnny Carino's and back to our house to watch FIREPROOF again. It will be one anniversary to remember. I love you Jason. You really make me feel special with all the little things you do to make our relationship grow. Hopefully someday I'll gain a "Master's Degree" in You. Good thing I have the ETERNITY to work on it :)!!!! I Love You FOREVER!!!
